Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi - The capital city!

Traditional welcome on arrival at Delhi airport by Travel Pals India executive with fresh marigold flower garlands and then
transferred by an exclusive car to your pre-reserved hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi is the capital of the modern
India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning over a period from 11th to 20th
centuries.

Day 2 : Delhi - Udaipur (By air)

Breakfast and then assisted and
transferred to Delhi domestic airport to board flight for Udaipur (1.5 hrs). Met on arrival at
Udaipur airport and transferred to your hotel.

Udaipur, the city of dawn,
surrounded by the ancient Aravalli mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant
kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and
temples.

Rest of the day at leisure un till
sunset to enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola for mesmerizing views of the historic buildings of
Jagmandir Palace, the Taj Lake Palace hotel white marble building, City Palace, Shiv Niwas &
Fateh Prakash Palace hotel buildings.

Day 3 : Udaipur

After a relaxed breakfast, guided
visit to the city's popular Jagdish Temple with it's richly sculptured walls, further walk
towards the City Palace compound gates through the narrow street. Visit the City Palace museum
complex. It is located on the east bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within
its complex.


​Visit Sahelion-ki-Bari - The 'garden of the maids of honour' brings to mind the
lifestyle of the ladies of the court. You may also like to visit the Crystal Gallery
which is a fine collection of crystals of every type & shape from the royal families of
Udaipur over generations.

Day 4 : Udaipur - Ahmedabad (250 kms/ 6 hrs)

After breakfast driven southwards to
Ahmedabad - The city of Ahmed Shah, known for its rich past and its association with Mahatma
Gandhi. The city offers the traveler a unique style of architecture, which is a blend of Hindu
and Islamic styles of architecture.

Day 5 : Ahmedabad

A full day guided tour of Ahmedabad
city where we visit the Calico Museum of Textiles, Sabarmati Ashram of Mahatama Gandhi by the
river, Syed Siddiqui mosque, the tombs of Ahmed Shah and his queens, Jama Masjid, 'Adalaj Vav'
Step wells (one of the best in north India).

Day 6 : Ahmedabad - Lothal -
Bhavnagar (180 kms / 4 hrs)

Today driven south to Bhavnagar with
enroute guided tour of the excavations at the ancient Indus city of Lothal - the citadel is
obviously separated an acropolis, with its own paved baths, and a lower town more humble
residential quarters, copper-smith workshops, sheds and bead factories.

Early evening arrive Bhavnagar
hotel.

Day 7 : Bhavnagar

We have a free day in Bhavnagar to
have conducted village walks where you will be able to come face to face and interact with local
villagers, village school and invited to one of the houses. Visit the famous Hindu temple
located on a hill, on a high plinth, offering a commanding view of Bhavnagar. The high shikhara
rising above the pillared rectangular mandapa makes it an important landmark.

Day 8 : Palitana excursion

Morning excursion to Palitana,
situated 50 kms southwest of Bhavnagar. Palitana is world renowned for its famous 863 Jain
temples on hilltops - it is on the Shatrunjaya mountain on the banks of river Shatrunjaya. This
mountain has 3800 steps. On it, there are 700 temples with summits, 7000 idols are installed in
them. The artistry and sculpture of these temples aptly illustrate the ancient art.

​By evening, we return back to Bhavnagar for
overnight stay.

Day 9 : Bhavnagar - Mumbai (By air)

Today morning you will be assisted
and transferred to Bhavnagar airport for a short flight to Mumbai - India's commercial capital,
industrial powerhouse, busiest port, fashion capital, home to Bollywood (India's Hollywood),
worlds biggest textile market - the list goes on and on.

This evening, you are free to enjoy the Marine
Drive and the views of the Arabian sea over sunset. If you stay jsut a bit longer till
the street lights are lit, the marine drive crescent represents a glittering queen's
necklace.​

Day 10 : Mumbai

After a relaxed breakfast,
introduced with your guide for a city tour visiting the Gateway of India - built under the
British Raj on the waterfront in Apollo Bunder area overlooking the Arabian Sea to commemorate
the landing of their majesties King Geroge V and Queen Mary.

An excursion by ferry from Gateway
to the Elephanta Caves which are carved out of rock and have also been given the recognition of
a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known in ancient times as Gharapuri, the present name Elephanta,
was given by 17th century Portuguese explorers, after seeing a monolithic basalt sculpture of an
elephant found here near the entrance. They decided to take it home but ended up dropping it
into the sea because their chains were not strong enough. Beautiful sculptures of one of the
most important Hindu Lord Shiva and family can be seen inside here.

On your return to the shore, visit the following
intersting sites: the Crawford Market - a shopper's paradise for groceries, dry fruits,
spices, poultry etc; Dhobi Ghat - open air laundry, Chatrapati Shivaji Railway Station
(erstwhile Victoria Terminus) building and also visit the the Prince of Wales Museum -
one of the best-known museums of the country. This magnificent heritage building,
situated on the famous 'Crescent Site' on the way to the Gateway of India, is a landmark
of south Mumbai. Architecturally it is an exquisite example of the Indo-Saracenic style,
popular in India during the early part of this century.

Day 11 : Mumbai - Goa (By air)

Day at leisure un till transfer to
Mumbai domestic airport to board an hour's flight for Goa. On arrival met at the airport and
transferred to a beach resort.

Goa : Though history of Goa dates back to 3rd
Century BC by the Mauryan Empire rules y the Buddhist Empire. However, Goa gained it's
popularity in 1510, the Portuguese defeated the ruling Bijapur kings with the help of a
local ally, Timayya, leading to the establishment of a permanent settlement in Velha Goa
(or Old Goa). The Portuguese converted a large portion of their subjects in Goa to
Christianity.

Day 12 - 13 : Goa

You have two full days to enjoy the
time on the beach or take a half day guided sightseeing tour including churches of old Goa which
are accredited UNESCO World Heritage sites and Panjim city and beaches of Goa.

Day 14 : Goa

After breakfast at the resort
assisted by Travel Pals India representative for transfer to Goa airport to board flight for
onward destination with sweet memories of your India tour.

You may like to extend your visit by few more
nights on the beach in Goa. Alternatively, please ask us for our various extension
